About this job

Conundrum Farms is hiring full- and part-time Farm Crew Members in Crowley. Work with the farm manager and crew across vegetable production and farmers-market sales, gaining experience from bed preparation through the finished harvest. What you will do • Prepare beds, seed and transplant crops, irrigate, and weed. • Harvest, wash, and package produce. • Help sell farm products at farmers-market booths. • Coordinate daily work with the manager and other crew members. How the work fits together Cort DeHart founded Conundrum Farms in 2020 as a place to reconnect people with food, land, and one another. A small team brings together farming, communications, and educational-event experience. The farm grows local organic food while also offering space for learning, volunteering, and community gatherings. Nonprofit partners share the property and its interest in agriculture and sustainability. Gardens and outdoor spaces sit alongside facilities used for retreats, workshops, and events. This combination gives the operation a broader community role without separating that role from its working crops. Farm crew members participate in the production and sales that underpin the business, seeing how a diversified farm fits growing, customer relationships, and public access into the same place. What the employer is looking for • Have a valid driver's license and lift more than 50 pounds repeatedly. • Work on your feet outdoors, including bending and kneeling. • Communicate well, handle several tasks, and work independently or with a team; farming experience is helpful but optional. Schedule, conditions, and compensation Typical hours are 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. on weekdays and 6 a.m.–2 p.m. Saturdays. Five-day schedules generally run Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday. Hours vary seasonally, with lighter work in January–March and August. Pay depends on experience; produce and practical learning are available. How to apply Complete the online application with your resume, a short video introduction, and the requested personality-test link. Follow the prompts on the Farm Crew page. Google sign-in is required for the application; questions can go to info@conundrumfarms.com.
