Nursery Maintenance Mechanic

Riverbend Nurseries is hiring a full-time Maintenance Mechanic for its Thompson's Station operation. Keep production machinery and fleet vehicles dependable through scheduled service, fault diagnosis, and repairs that support the nursery's daily work. How the work fits together Riverbend is a family-owned grower and garden center serving Middle Tennessee. It began in 1990 as a wholesale nursery and added its public retail garden center in 2008. The business grows trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and vegetables, using both field production and container growing. Heated greenhouses extend the growing season and support propagation, houseplants, succulents, and seasonal color. Locally grown plants are a central part of its offering, allowing customers to buy material raised in the region's conditions. The wholesale and retail sides share access to the nursery's plant inventory. Keeping machinery available and dependable supports this combination of growing systems. The mechanic's work is based at the production operation in Thompson's Station, rather than being a plant-sales position at the Franklin store.
